2025 has been an exceptional year at the Cunniff-Dixon Foundation, advancing our mission to strengthen the provider-patient relationship at the end of life through targeted education, strategic collaborations, and meaningful recognition programs. Our efforts reached thousands of healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers nationwide, fostering compassionate care and innovative end-of-life planning.
Highlights include:
Celebrating three exceptional palliative care nurses who received the 2025 Hastings Center Cunniff-Dixon Nursing Award;
Giving the CDFAwards.org website a refresh;
Producing and distributing quarterly newsletters to our CDF and Planning My Way communities, reaching over 2,000 recipients;
Releasing compelling Influencer Interviews with palliative care leaders to promote best practices and personal insights;
Marking a significant four-year partnership with the End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC), supporting their educational workshop and highlighting the transformative impact of ELNEC nursing education.
Opening nominations for the 2026 Physician Awards and welcoming Dr. Justin Baker, MD, FAAP, FAAHPM, to our Physician Awards Selection Committee.
