2025 Nursing Award Nominations: Open Through January 31, 2025
The Hastings Center Cunniff-Dixon Nursing Awards is now accepting nominations for 2025! These prestigious awards recognize three exceptional nurses who provide exemplary end-of-life care, demonstrating outstanding compassion and service. Each award recipient will receive a $25,000 prize.
Eligibility:
- Open to nurses at all levels of practice (LVN/LPN, RN/APRN).
- Past nominees who were not selected are encouraged to be re-nominated.
Submission Deadline: January 31, 2025

Awards Selection Committee:
The committee includes distinguished leaders in nursing and end-of-life care:
- Dr. Betty Ferrell (Chair): Director of Nursing Research and Education, Professor, City of Hope, Duarte, Calif.
- Dr. Ashley Leak Bryant: Associate Professor of Nursing, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
- Dr. Lynn Reinke: Claire Dumke Ryberg RN Presidential Endowed Chair for Palliative and End-of-Life Care, Director of the Center for Family Integrated Healthcare, University of Utah College of Nursing.
- Dr. Tamryn Fowler Gray: Assistant Professor, Carolina Nursing.
- Dr. Billy Rosa: Chief Research Fellow, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
