We are thrilled to announce the launch of INSIGHTS, our new video shorts series dedicated to sharing concise, powerful pearls of wisdom from exemplary leaders and practitioners in palliative care, perinatal palliative support, hospice, and end-of-life care.

At a time when thoughtful, humane approaches to serious illness and dying are more essential than ever, INSIGHTS brings you brief, heartfelt reflections from individuals whose decades of bedside experience, advocacy, and innovation have transformed how we honor life at its most vulnerable moments.

These shorts are designed for easy sharing: perfect for clinicians, families, educators, students, and anyone seeking inspiration, practical guidance, or a moment of profound connection amid grief and caregiving.

We are honored to launch the series with Fran McCarthy, MS, RNC-NIC, CPLC—former Clinical Coordinator of the Neonatal Comfort Care Program at New York-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital of Columbia University and winner of the 2023 Cunniff-Dixon Nursing Award.

With over 40 years as a dedicated NICU nurse and pioneer in perinatal palliative nursing, Fran has supported countless families facing life-limiting prenatal diagnoses.
